• CCFinderX 10.1.12.2 has been released. A lot of bugs have been fixed. Hereafter, CCFinderX 10.1.12.X will be considered "stable". Its updates will include only bug fixes. New features will be implemented in a "current" branch, 10.2.X. Its development plan wil be annouced shortly. Also, User Registration Page is opened. • Last week my note PC (which has been used for the development) got a malfunction in cooling fan. I have successfully moved the data to another PC, but the (semi-) monthly version up planned in July will be significantly delayed. Sorry for inconvenience. (2006/July/11)

• Preannoucement of a Licence Modification: Currently, we are trying to buy out a pending (domestic) patent about CCFinder, by the assitance of IPA. If things go well, we will distribute CCFinderX package as a freeware in this October. Under this new license, the binary package will be freely copied and re-distributed, however it will still require user registration, that is, a user will have to download license key from a CGI page of this site. (The purpose of this registration is just tracking technology transfer from AIST.) If possible, we would like to release CCFinderX as an open-source product at the end of next year.(2006/June/28)

• Sorry, the archive file of the 10.1.6 included a wrong version of a binary file, so that GemX did not work on any PCs except for a PC used for the development. The archive file has been replaced with the modified one(Thanks to Wiebe Hordijk). (2006/Mar/19)

• Sorry, the link to download CCFinderX 10.1.4 was broken. I've fixed it.
• CCFinderX 10.1.4 has been released. (2006/Feb/19) In this version, the encoding converter library has been replaced, so that the preprocessed files created by the older version (10.1.3 or former) may cause problem when they are read by 10.1.4. It is highly recommended to remove these preprocessed files (*.ccfxprep) before introducing 10.1.4.
